Skin overview

Nova | Plume covers the shotgun in a warm brown feather pattern laid over a wooden receiver and stock. In Factory New the fine lines of each feather stay crisp, and the cream highlights on the pump and receiver read sharply against the copper tones. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the drawing exactly as it was painted.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver is covered with overlapping brown feathers with fine light edges and faint cool accents between them. The pump carries long ribbed feather vanes in copper with cream streaks, and the magazine tube end repeats the copper and cream rings. The barrel has a pale beige speckled texture that contrasts with the darker body, while the stock and grip show dark brown wood with a feather pattern dotted along its length. On worn copies the paint goes first from the muzzle, the raised ridges of the pump, the top edges of the receiver and the lower edge of the stock.

The finish is intact on every part, from the speckled barrel to the feather lines on the stock. The cream highlights on the pump and the light edges of the receiver feathers stay sharp. In game the copper and brown read rich and even. Nothing on the gun shows wear.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Nova | Plume is 0–0.8; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
