Skin overview

Smart Gun in Battle-Scarred keeps its basic silhouette of gunmetal barrel and violet rear, but the paint is heavily scraped across raised parts and edges. The brain motif loses detail and the metal shows through in many places, giving the gun a rough, salvaged look. It is the cheapest way to carry this design.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The barrel, magazine tube and ribbed pump are finished in dark metallic grey-blue with a light sheen along the top surfaces. The rear of the receiver and the stock carry the main artwork: violet, magenta and pink tones with curved lines that wrap around the grip.

Heavy scraping covers the stock edges, the grip, the receiver and the pump ribs. The brain motif is partly worn through and loses much of its shape. At normal distance the gun still shows a violet rear and dark front, but the artwork reads as rough. Even the flat stock panels show patches of wear.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The whole float range of Nova | Smart Gun is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
