Skin overview

Amber Fade pairs a chrome base with a soft green-to-amber gradient and a darker olive grip. In Field-Tested the colours still read clearly, while bare chrome starts to show through on the slide edges and muzzle, giving the pistol a used metal look.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Airbrushed: a coloured coating with an airbrushed design on top; the coating holds while the design fades with wear.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide carries the main gradient: olive green at the muzzle shifts through yellow-gold to amber and a reddish tint over the rear serrations. The frame and trigger guard pick up a lighter green-chrome tone, while the grip is a darker olive that deepens almost to black.

Bare chrome shows through along the slide edges, around the muzzle and on the sights, and the grip texture starts to look silvery on raised areas. The flat sides of the slide still carry a clear olive-to-amber fade. In game the pistol reads as tinted chrome with visible light edges. Higher floats in this grade show noticeably more silver.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of P2000 | Amber Fade ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 57% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, amber and olive stickers continue the gradient naturally, while holo and foil stickers echo the chrome base. Placing them on the slide next to the amber zone keeps the colour flow intact.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since the chrome showing through grows steadily toward the higher end.
  • Look at the muzzle, sights and slide edges first, as the tint leaves these parts before anything else.
  • Make sure the amber part of the gradient over the rear serrations is still saturated on worn copies.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the warm fade reads.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who like a used metal look with silver edges.
  • Budget buyers who want the gradient clearly visible on the slide.
  • Conclusion: a practical everyday pistol skin.
