Skin overview

This Mil-Spec Grade P2000 is recognisable by its woven, armour-like texture and the cool silver glints at the edges of the frame. At Minimal Wear the chainmail rows still read cleanly in game, with only faint marks that need a close look to notice. It keeps the look of a fresh copy at a lower grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New and Field-Tested.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The slide carries the chainmail pattern in darker grey-brown tones, with the rows running along its length and the silver base visible at the muzzle and front edges. The frame and grip repeat the same scale motif in a lighter khaki, and brighter silver patches show on the trigger guard and along the grip sides.

Light rubbing may appear on the muzzle and the front edge of the slide, where the khaki thins and the silver shows a little more. The grip, frame sides and most of the slide look the same as on a Factory New copy. At normal viewing distance in game the difference is hard to spot, since the wear blends into the existing silver highlights.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of P2000 | Chainmail is 0–0.22; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (36% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

Which stickers suit it

Silver, holo-silver and grey stickers blend with the metallic base, while gold or khaki tones match the chainmail scales. Placements on the flat side of the slide keep the pattern on the grip visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare the float within the wear range, as low-float copies keep the muzzle and slide edges cleaner.
  • Look at the muzzle, trigger guard and grip bottom in the inspect view, since these lose the pattern first.
  • Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit the muted finish.
  • Check any name tag or applied stickers on regular copies before buying.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look in game without paying for the top grade.
  • Owners of muted, metallic loadouts who want a matching CT pistol.
  • Conclusion: a sensible middle ground where the wear is barely noticeable.
