Skin overview

Crimson Kimono is recognised by its repeating red geometric motif and the shift from a dark slide to a muted blue-grey lower half. In Field-Tested the grid is still clearly readable, while scuffs appear on the slide edges, muzzle and magazine base. The overall look turns slightly rougher, which suits the industrial tone of the finish.

Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is a dark charcoal tone covered with a dense lattice of red diamonds and crossing lines that runs along its full length. Lower down, the frame, trigger guard and grip switch to a blue-grey base where the same diamond motif continues in fainter, desaturated red.

Visible scratches show along the slide edges, the muzzle, the rear serrations and the magazine base. The red grid on the flat sides of the slide is still readable, though slightly dulled in places. The grip panels and the frame centre remain mostly clean. In game the skin keeps its identity, with a lightly used look.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and dark grey stickers match the slide and keep the geometric look intact. Placing a red or monochrome sticker on the dark slide repeats the grid's accent, while muted grey or blue tones fit the lower frame.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep the red lines noticeably sharper.
  • Inspect the muzzle, the top edges of the slide and the magazine base, as these lose the finish first.
  • The pattern is a uniform repeating grid, so placement differences between copies matter little.
  • Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the look of the slide and the overall impression.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the recognisable red grid for everyday matches.
  • Buyers who like a slightly used look on a dark finish.
  • A practical middle option for regular play.
