Skin overview

P250 | Drought is a Consumer Grade pistol finish sprayed in dusty salmon and slate blue-grey, with faint animal skull shapes showing through the mottled paint. In Factory New the two tones stay crisp, and the skull outlines on the grip and slide are as readable as they get.

Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Factory New

The slide, frame and grip are all covered in a mottled spray of dusty salmon and slate blue-grey, laid in irregular patches. On the grip and the rear of the slide the paint forms faint animal skull silhouettes, blended into the camouflage rather than outlined. The trigger, trigger guard area, slide release and other small controls stay in darker grey metal. On worn copies the paint goes first from the front of the slide, the muzzle, the top edges of the slide and the protruding edges of the grip, exposing bare grey steel.

The spray paint is complete on every part of the pistol. Edges of the slide and muzzle keep their colour with no exposed metal. At normal distance in game it reads as a soft tan and blue camouflage, and the skull shapes are visible up close in the inspect view.

Stickers and crafts

Muted sand, bone white, brown and dusty blue stickers blend with the desert palette. Placements on the slide work best, where the camouflage is calmest; bright neon or glossy holo stickers tend to clash with the faded tones.

What to check before buying

  • Compare the float within the chosen wear, since a low float keeps the muzzle and slide edges noticeably cleaner.
  • Check the inspect view of the grip, where the skull silhouettes are most visible and where wear on the edges is easy to judge.
  • For worn grades, look at how much paint remains on the slide sides, as that decides whether the pattern still reads.
  • Look at any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the price and the overall look.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Players who want the skull motif and both colours fully intact.
  • Collectors completing clean sets of Consumer Grade finishes.
  • A tidy, understated pistol for those who want the cleanest copy.
