Skin overview

The P250 | Facets hydrographic breaks the pistol into overlapping grey and olive polygons with darker patches on the slide. In Minimal Wear the pattern looks practically the same as on cleaner copies, with only faint marks that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It is a sensible way to get the full geometric look without paying for the top grade.

Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The hydrographic covers the slide, frame and grip with a polygonal pattern of grey, taupe and olive facets in close tones. The top and rear of the slide carry darker, smudged areas, and the area around the rear sight is close to black.

Minimal Wear may show tiny scuffs on the slide edges and near the muzzle, mostly visible only in inspect. The polygons on the frame and grip stay intact. At normal distance the gun is hard to tell apart from Factory New because the muted palette hides fine marks.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of P250 | Facets is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

P250 | Facets belongs to The Alpha Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 8 skins of the P250 in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Matte stickers in grey, olive, black or desert tones blend with the faceted camouflage. A single brighter sticker placed on the slide works as an accent against the muted background.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the slide edges and muzzle show the difference first.
  • Inspect the bottom of the grip and the front of the frame on worn copies for exposed metal.
  • Check whether the copy is a Souvenir version and which stickers it already carries.
  • Look at any name tag or applied stickers to make sure they fit the muted look.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Owners of quiet loadouts built around grey and olive tones.
  • Conclusion: the balanced choice for a clean-looking pistol.
