Skin overview

Thermal Currents is recognisable by its warm red palette and light bird shapes over a swirling darker texture. In Field-Tested the edges of the weapon start to show scuffs, but the overall red tone and the bird motif still read clearly. It is a practical middle ground for everyday play.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, handguard and helical drum magazine are covered in an orange-red hydrographic layer with darker wine and brown swirls running through it. Silver-white bird silhouettes are placed across the top of the receiver, the handguard cutouts and the side of the magazine.

Scratches become visible along the receiver edges, the drum rim and the stock frame. Some birds near worn areas lose part of their outline. The central parts of the handguard and magazine still show the pattern clearly, and in game the skin reads as a solid red weapon with light accents.
