Sawed-Off | Amber Fade is a Mil-Spec shotgun finish built around a smooth green-to-amber fade on the receiver, paired with the gun's warm wooden furniture. In Factory New the transparent paints over the chrome base keep their full depth, so the transition looks glassy and even. This is the grade for buyers who want the colour shift exactly as intended, with nothing breaking it up.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver carries the main effect: transparent paint over chrome fades from olive green near the barrels to copper-amber toward the stock, with a reflective metallic sheen. The trigger guard picks up the green-gold tone of the front of the receiver. The double barrels stay a dark gunmetal shade with a subtle cool reflection, while the ribbed pump grip and the stock are warm brown wood that frames the fade. On worn copies the paint goes first on the receiver edges, the trigger guard and the transition into the stock, where chrome starts to show through.

The fade on the receiver is uninterrupted and keeps its full gloss from green to amber. The trigger guard and receiver edges show no scuffs. In game the metallic sheen reads clearly against the wooden parts. Everything on the weapon looks clean.
