Skin overview

This is a working-rifle finish: tan, navy and dark green paint applied part by part, with nothing decorative on top. In Field-Tested the paint starts to show use on edges and raised details, which fits the contractor theme rather than spoiling it. The overall colour split stays easy to read, so the rifle still looks deliberate and coherent.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The upper receiver, the long railed handguard and the top of the stock are painted a muted dark green, while the lower receiver, magazine and main body of the stock are tan. The pistol grip is green, the barrel and muzzle device stay dark, and the scope body is a dark blue-grey with tan rings at both ends.

Chipping becomes visible along the rail edges, the handguard ridges, the magazine corners and the edges of the stock. Flat areas of the receiver are still mostly clean. In game the wear shows as light scuffs that add a used look without breaking the colour blocks. The grip and scope show only minor marks.

Stickers in olive, tan, sand, navy or muted grey blend with the military colour blocks. Placing them on the green upper receiver or along the handguard keeps the craft in line with the rifle's two-tone split. Matte or dark-toned designs suit the plain finish better than bright holographic ones.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps the rail and magazine edges noticeably cleaner.
• Pattern does not matter for this solid colour finish, so compare copies by float and inspect screenshots instead.
• Look at the edges of the rail, handguard and magazine first, as these show chipping before anything else.
• Confirm whether the copy is a Souvenir or a regular one and whether it carries stickers or a name tag.
