Skin overview

The SCAR-20 | Powercore is recognisable by its green-and-yellow colour scheme and the code label on the side of the receiver. In Field-Tested the yellow trim starts to break up on the scope tube, stock edges and magazine base, while the large green panels still carry the overall look. The skin keeps its character in game, with a slightly more used, working-rifle feel.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and handguard are painted dark green with near-black inset panels, and a thin yellow line runs along the lower edge of the receiver. On the side sits a small label with the SCAR-20 marking and a barcode-style strip.

The yellow trim on the stock edges, scope rings and magazine base shows visible breaks, and the barrel bands lose some paint. Scattered scratches appear on the front of the handguard. In game the colour scheme still reads clearly, with the wear noticeable mostly in inspect. The large green panels on the receiver remain largely clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of SCAR-20 | Powercore ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Price by quality

Taking Field-Tested as the baseline:

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 9% cheaper than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Yellow, gold and green stickers match the trim and the body colour, while black or dark stickers blend into the inset panels for a quieter craft. Placing them along the receiver next to the code label keeps the yellow lines of the stock and scope visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since the yellow trim on the stock and scope shows wear earlier than the green panels.
  • Inspect the scope rings and magazine base, as these yellow details reveal scuffs first.
  • Look at applied stickers and their positions, because they cover parts of the receiver and its code label.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it has a name tag, as these change the item you receive.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the green-and-yellow scheme for everyday matches.
  • Buyers who like a slightly used, working-rifle look.
  • A sensible middle option for regular play.
