Skin overview

SCAR-20 | Sirocco Script is an Industrial Grade sniper rifle finish that covers the gun in sandy ochre paint with dark brown pseudo-calligraphy and arabesque lines. In Factory New the script strokes are crisp and the sand tone stays even from the handguard to the stock. This is the grade where the dense lettering pattern is easiest to read up close.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver, handguard, scope body, magazine and stock are painted a sandy ochre with a dense overlay of dark brown pseudo-calligraphic strokes and arabesque curves. The barrel, muzzle device, rail sections, pistol grip and the stock's adjustable parts stay in dark gunmetal and black, framing the painted areas. The script runs at angles across each part, so the pattern looks like layered desert lettering rather than a regular tile. On worn copies the paint goes first from the top rails, the edges of the handguard and receiver, the scope tube and the bottom of the magazine, then from the stock edges and the flat side panels.

The paint is complete on every part, and the brown script lines keep sharp edges against the sand base. The scope tube, rail tops and magazine show no exposed metal. In game the rifle looks uniformly tan with a fine dark texture. All dark metal parts look clean and untouched.

Souvenir version

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in gold, brown, beige or dark tones blend with the ochre base and the script pattern. Placing them on the flat sides of the receiver or stock keeps the calligraphy on the handguard visible. Bright cold colours will stand out sharply against the warm finish.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the full float range makes the difference between clean and heavy copies of the same grade noticeable.
  • Inspect the scope tube, top rails and magazine bottom, as these lose paint first on this finish.
  • Look at the stock and receiver sides to judge how much of the script pattern is still readable.
  • Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the sand-and-brown colours.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the script pattern fully sharp.
  • Sticker crafters who need a clean, even sand background.
  • Conclusion: the grade for those who care about every line of the pattern.
