Skin overview

Darkwing pairs a black upper half with a red lower half covered in dark feathers, and the shift between them is what makes it recognisable on the SG 553. In Field-Tested the red parts start to show visible scuffs, most of all on edges of the magazine and stock. From normal viewing distance the colour split still reads clearly, so the skin keeps its character.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The barrel, handguard rails and the upper part of the receiver are dark grey to black, and the scope is black as well. Toward the rear the receiver fades into red through flame-like feather edges, and the lower receiver, magazine, pistol grip and stock are painted deep red.

Scuffs become visible on the magazine edges, the bottom of the grip and the stock edges. The rail edges on the handguard start to show lighter grey wear. The feather details on the red parts are slightly softened but still readable. At normal distance the black and red split looks intact.
