Skin overview

SG 553 | Safari Print covers the whole rifle in a brown animal print of ochre, tan and dark brown streaks, scope included. In Factory New the hydrographic layer is unbroken, so the print stays warm and even from muzzle to stock. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the pattern exactly as designed.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The hydrographic print runs over the entire rifle: barrel, ribbed handguard, receiver, magazine, pistol grip, stock and the scope body all share the same pattern. The base is a warm ochre and tan, crossed by wavy dark brown streaks that imitate animal hide. Lighter highlights on the rails and ribs give the finish some depth, while the overall palette stays in one brown family. On worn copies the print rubs off first from the sharp edges of the handguard ribs, the bottom of the magazine, the muzzle and the corners of the stock and scope, exposing grey metal underneath.

The print is complete on every part of the rifle, with no exposed metal. Rails, magazine edges and the scope keep their full colour. In game it reads as a uniform warm brown pattern. Everything looks clean.
