Overview
Shanghai 2024 Diamond Coin is a commemorative collectible tied to the Perfect World Shanghai 2024 CS2 Major Championship. It is an upgraded form of the Shanghai 2024 Coin, reached by completing coin challenges during the event. The item carries the Extraordinary rarity and is easy to recognise by its golden dragon and diamond-like rim.
Shanghai 2024 Diamond Coin is a collectible for CS2 of the Extraordinary grade.
How it looks
The centre shows a golden Chinese dragon set against a deep red field, its coiled body rising behind the head. A thin ring of geometric ornament frames the medallion. The outer rim is faceted like a cut stone and shimmers with a soft rainbow sheen. Gold lettering reads CS2 MAJOR at the top and SHANGHAI 2024 at the bottom, with laurel branches and small stars on the sides.
Where and how it is used
The coin is equipped from the inventory and then appears next to the player's name on the scoreboard and on the Steam profile showcase. During the event it gave access to the Shanghai 2024 Pick'Em Challenge, Steam.tv chat flairs, coin challenges and unlimited graffiti, and each upgrade earned a Souvenir Token.
Who it suits
- Players who followed the Shanghai 2024 Major and want a visible reminder of the event on their scoreboard.
- Collectors of Major coins who look for the upgraded versions rather than the base one.
- Those who like a bright, detailed emblem with Chinese motifs in their profile showcase.
- A tidy pick for anyone who wants to keep the Shanghai 2024 Major in their inventory in its upgraded form.
