Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the most affordable way into this AK-47 skin, and it looks the part: grey metal shows through across the receiver and the red shapes are faded and patchy. The teal tone survives in places, giving the rifle a weathered, salt-worn feel. It suits those who want the skin's colours rather than a clean print.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver carries the main artwork: red and orange dolphin shapes over a turquoise background filled with fine, intricate lines. The dust cover is dark grey with teal edging, while the front sight, gas tube and handguard area pick up the aquamarine tone and a thin red line runs along the lower barrel.

Large areas of the receiver show grey metal, and the dolphins survive only as faded red fragments. The handguard, dust cover and front sight are heavily worn, with only traces of teal left. In game the rifle reads as weathered teal and grey with spots of red. Edges of the magazine and stock are scuffed as well.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in red, orange or turquoise pick up the colours of the artwork, and holo or foil stickers in cool blue tones match the aquamarine base. Placing them on the dark grey dust cover or stock keeps the dolphins on the receiver uncovered.
