Souvenir AK-47 | Breakthrough (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

In Field-Tested, AK-47 | Breakthrough shows the first real scuffs on its light zigzags, while the dark carbon base hides much of the wear. The grayscale palette is forgiving, so the rifle still reads as a sharp monochrome design in game. It suits players who care more about the overall look than about close inspection.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The rifle is covered in a dark, near-black carbon fiber base with white and light gray diagonal slashes and zigzags running across the handguard, receiver and stock. The strokes are densest on the receiver and the stock, where they form bold angular shapes, and they also extend over the pistol grip.

Scratches become visible on the light zigzags along the receiver, the handguard edges, the magazine and the stock outline. The dark base hides much of this wear, so the damage mainly shows where white strokes meet edges. At normal distance in game the rifle still looks tidy and monochrome. The central areas of the stock and receiver keep most of their pattern.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir AK-47 | Breakthrough ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Achroma Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 9 skins of the AK-47 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white, silver and holo stickers match the grayscale artwork without breaking its contrast. A single bright accent such as red or gold stands out well against the dark base. Placements on the receiver above the magazine sit on the busiest part of the pattern, so simple designs work best there.

What to look at before you buy

• Compare the float position within the grade, since lower values keep more of the light strokes on the edges.
• Look at the magazine edges and the stock outline, as these show wear first on this finish.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, and if you consider a Souvenir copy, make sure you like its pre-applied stickers.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Everyday players who want the monochrome look while the dark base hides the wear.
• Buyers who rarely inspect the rifle up close.
• A sensible grade for regular play.
