Souvenir AK-47 | Crane Flight (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Crane Flight is recognised by its pale base, flowing black lines, gold sights and the red circle on the stock. In Field-Tested the white starts to pick up grey scuffs at the edges, while the overall black-white-gold contrast still holds. From a normal distance it reads as a light, decorative rifle with some use on it.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver, handguard and magazine are covered in a white base with flowing black ink strokes, and the handguard carries part of the hand-drawn crane. The front sight, rear sight block, handguard fittings and the trigger area are finished in gold, while the barrel stays a light metallic grey.

Grey scuffs show along the magazine edges, the lower handguard and the corners of the stock, and the white base loses some brightness. The gold on raised edges of the sights begins to dull. At normal distance the design still reads clearly, with wear noticeable mainly in inspect. The centre of the receiver and the crane artwork stay largely clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Crane Flight is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, red and black-and-white stickers match the artwork and repeat the colours of the sights and the sun circle. Holo or gold stickers placed on the receiver above the magazine sit well against the pale base, while busy multicolour designs tend to clash with the ink drawing.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the white base shows scuffs more easily than darker finishes.
• Inspect the magazine edges and the lower handguard, which wear first on this skin.
• Look at the gold sights and fittings for dulling on raised edges.
• Review applied stickers and any name tag, as they strongly affect how the pale finish looks.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the recognisable design at a lower cost.
• Buyers fine with light edge scuffs that mostly show in inspect.
• A practical everyday copy of the skin.
