Skin overview

Crossfade's colour story — pink fading into violet and teal — survives in Well-Worn, but now shares the surface with visible patches of bare dark metal. The design starts to look weathered rather than polished. For a player who wants the palette at a lower grade, this condition keeps the main idea of the skin recognisable.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The handguard carries the warmest part of the gradient, a salmon-to-copper pink with dark curved streaks running along it. The receiver is darker, crossed by pale and teal diagonal strokes that give it a motion-blur feel, while the stock fades into violet with a halftone dot pattern near the butt.

Paint loss becomes obvious on the handguard, the receiver top and the magazine, where larger areas of bare metal break the fade. The stock edges are worn and the dot pattern fades in places. In game the rifle reads as pink and violet but noticeably rougher. The central panels of the stock and receiver still hold the main colours.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Crossfade is 0–0.5; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (14% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Graphic Design Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Holo and foil stickers in pink, purple or teal echo the gradient and suit the darker receiver area. Pastel or white designs placed along the receiver keep the soft look, while a single dark sticker near the magazine well adds contrast without fighting the fade.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps the handguard and magazine edges noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the handguard tips, receiver top and magazine ribs, as these lose paint first on this finish.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so make sure their placement fits the pink-and-violet artwork.
• Look at any name tag or added stickers to see whether they match your plans for the rifle.
