Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most worn version of First Class: the green leather turns faded and blotchy, especially on edges and raised areas, and the grey metal looks heavily scratched. The rifle reads as an old, hard-used weapon. It is the cheapest way to get this finish.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The handguard and the stock are wrapped in dark green leather with a fine grain texture. The receiver, top cover, gas tube and magazine are a plain gunmetal grey, and the barrel and front sight are dark.
The leather is faded and blotchy across most of the handguard and stock, with the strongest wear on edges and the stock heel. The receiver, top cover and magazine are heavily scratched. In game the rifle looks old and hard-used, with a duller green. Only the grip and recessed areas keep some of the original tone.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | First Class is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir AK-47 | First Class belongs to The Baggage Collection, which holds 15 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, cream, brown and dark green stickers suit the leather-and-metal look. Placements on the grey receiver stand out best, since the green panels can swallow darker stickers.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade look noticeably better.
- Look at the edges of the handguard leather and the stock heel, as these lighten first.
- Inspect the receiver and magazine for scratches on worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and name tag, since they change the look of a plain finish a lot.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for anyone who wants this finish.
- Players who like a heavily used, old-rifle look.
- Conclusion: the most affordable First Class, with heavy wear.
