Souvenir AK-47 | Jaguar (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

AK-47 | Jaguar in Battle-Scarred keeps the overall colour scheme of wood, olive and black, but the paint is heavily broken up. The camo on the magazine and edges is worn through in many places, and the panther looks faded and patchy. It is the most affordable way to get this Covert design in the inventory.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver carries the main artwork: a dark panther with a red eye stretched along its side over an olive and yellow tiger camo. The magazine, gas tube and front sight block are painted in the same green-gold camo with pale stripes, while the barrel stays dark.

The camo on the magazine and front metal parts is heavily worn through, leaving patches of bare metal. The panther on the receiver is faded and broken up, with only part of its shape left clear. In game the rifle reads as dark olive metal with traces of the design. The wood furniture stays the same as on cleaner copies, since it is not painted.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir AK-47 | Jaguar ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir AK-47 | Jaguar belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, olive, black or deep red stickers match the camo and the panther's red eye. Place them on the wood handguard or the rear of the receiver so the cat itself stays uncovered.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float inside the wear range, since the edges of the magazine and receiver show the difference first.
• Check that the panther on the receiver is not scratched in the screenshot or inspect view.
• Note any stickers or name tag on the item, as they change the look of the receiver side.
• Make sure whether you are buying a StatTrak™ or a regular version.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

• Budget buyers looking for the cheapest entry to this design.
• Fans of heavily worn, battle-used looks.
• Conclusion: an entry ticket to the Jaguar for those who do not mind heavy wear.
