Skin overview

Phantom Disruptor is a creature artwork in warm amber and teal on a matte black AK-47. In Battle-Scarred much of the paint is gone from the magazine, handguard and receiver, so the dark base dominates and the creature survives in fragments. The rifle keeps its colour scheme at a glance, but reads as rough and heavily used.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The whole rifle sits on a matte black base, over which a creature is drawn in amber, orange, gold and cream lines with teal and turquoise accents. The handguard carries gold jaw-like shapes with teeth running along it, and the magazine repeats the toothed pattern over orange.

Large areas of paint are gone from the magazine, handguard and receiver, and the stock edges are heavily worn. The matte black base becomes the main colour, with the creature left in scattered pieces. In game the amber and teal still flicker through, but the details of the motif are lost. Only the inner parts of the stock and receiver keep noticeable sections of the artwork.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.65

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor is 0–0.65; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.65 segment (31% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Prisma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Prisma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, orange and teal stickers match the creature palette, and holo or gold finishes echo the warm tones of the swirls. Placing them on the receiver above the magazine keeps the handguard teeth and the stock artwork visible, while dark or black stickers blend with the matte base for a quieter craft.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps the magazine and handguard edges noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the magazine and the handguard teeth first, as these are the parts that lose paint earliest.
  • Check applied stickers and their positions, because they can cover the receiver swirls or suit the artwork well.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it carries a name tag, as these change the item you are buying.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players looking for the cheapest entry to this skin.
  • Those who prefer a rough, mostly black AK with fragments of colour.
  • The grade for budget and for a deliberately battered look.
