Skin overview

AK-47 | Redline keeps its dark carbon base and red trim, but in Well-Worn the finish shows clear use. Grey scratches break up the weave on the magazine, handguard and edges, and the red lines start to look interrupted in places. The rifle gains a used, practical look while the colour scheme remains readable.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver, handguard and magazine are covered in a black carbon fiber hydrographic with a fine woven texture. Thin red pinstripes run along the top of the receiver, around the handguard ends, down the curve of the magazine and along the edge of the stock.

The magazine and handguard show wide scratched areas where grey metal comes through the carbon. Wear spreads to the receiver edges and the stock, and the red pinstripes are broken in several places. The black base is still dominant from a distance. The finish reads as used but not stripped.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Redline is 0.1–0.7; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir AK-47 | Redline belongs to The Phoenix Collection, which holds 13 skins.

The source is Operation Phoenix Weapon Case (on sale since Feb 19, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black, white and holographic red stickers fit the black-and-red scheme without breaking it. Placing them along the receiver near the red pinstripe keeps the line of the design intact.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a lower float means fewer scratches on the magazine and handguard.
  • Look at the magazine and the front of the handguard in the inspect view, as they wear first on this skin.
  • Check whether the red pinstripes are continuous or broken, because they carry most of the skin's look.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag, and note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want the Redline name and colours.
  • Players who like a used, worn rifle look.
  • Conclusion: an affordable entry with visible character.
