Souvenir AK-47 | The Empress (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred this tarot-inspired AK-47 shows heavy wear, with large areas of the gold artwork and red paint worn away on the magazine and receiver. The black-red-gold palette is still visible, giving the rifle a rough, aged look. It is the most affordable way to own The Empress.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The handguard and the front of the receiver are red with gold checkered bands and a row of small shield emblems, while the rear of the receiver carries a gold ornamental pattern with a golden figure. The magazine repeats the red base with gold checkers and dark sections, and the grip is black with thin gold lines.

Heavy wear covers the magazine, the handguard and the raised areas of the receiver, with large sections of red and gold worn away. The gold figure and emblems are only partly visible, and the stock shows worn edges with fewer stars left. In game the rifle looks rough and aged, with the colour palette surviving more than the drawing. The centre of the stock and the barrel area hold up best.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir AK-47 | The Empress ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, holo or foil stickers match the gold ornament and suit the red handguard area well. Black or dark red stickers blend into the stock and receiver without competing with the artwork. Because the design is already dense, fewer stickers in a consistent palette usually look better than a full set.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear range, as low and high floats in the same grade can look quite different on the magazine.
• Inspect the magazine edges and the lower edge of the handguard, since these parts wear first.
• Look at whether the gold figure on the receiver and the shield emblems are still readable on worn copies.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, as they can either complement or clutter this busy design.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

• Budget players who want The Empress at the lowest entry point.
• Fans of a rough, aged look on a bright design.
• Conclusion: the entry option for owning this skin.
