Skin overview

The recognisable mix of white quilting, black stripes and gold parts reads almost the same here as on a factory-fresh copy. Minimal Wear allows only small specks on edges that are hard to spot without zooming in. The buyer gets nearly the full look while staying one step below the top grade.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The barrel, gas tube, front sight and receiver are finished in metallic gold, with the upper handguard carrying dark ribbed lines. The lower handguard, stock and magazine are wrapped in white panels with black and grey quilted stripes that imitate the stitching of a puffer jacket.

Tiny specks may appear on the magazine edge and the corners of the stock. The gold keeps nearly all of its shine, with only faint marks on raised edges. At normal distance the skin is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The handguard and the main white areas stay clean.

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | The Oligarch is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo and foil stickers echo the metallic parts, while black-and-white or monochrome stickers match the quilted panels. Placing stickers on the white handguard and receiver area keeps the composition balanced.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the white panels show the difference between low and high floats clearly.
• Inspect the magazine bottom and stock corners, as these parts lose their white first.
• Look at the gold on the receiver edges to see how much of the shine is left.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir.
