Souvenir AUG | Amber Fade (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This AUG is recognisable by its warm fade, olive at the grip turning to orange-copper at the back, over a reflective chrome base. In Minimal Wear the gradient stays intact and the chrome glow is still there. Any marks are small and mostly limited to edges you rarely notice in a match.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Airbrushed: a coloured coating with an airbrushed design on top; the coating holds while the design fades with wear.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The main colour sits on the polymer body: olive green around the grip and trigger guard gradually warms into amber and copper-orange toward the rear of the stock. The barrel, upper rail and scope stay dark grey, which frames the gradient from above.

Small scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges of the stock and around the rear corner of the body. The gradient and the metallic sheen remain intact. At normal viewing distance it looks practically the same as Factory New.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir AUG | Amber Fade is 0–0.4; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (20% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir AUG | Amber Fade belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Warm gold, orange and copper stickers blend with the amber rear of the body, while dark or holo stickers stand out against the chrome sheen. Placing them along the side of the body keeps the gradient readable.

• Look at the float position within the wear, since lower values keep the edges of the stock cleaner.
• Inspect the rear corner of the body and the stock edges, as they lose paint first.
• Check the Souvenir version for applied stickers if that matters to you.
