Souvenir AUG | Plague (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This is the AUG with the engraved horror motif: a grey-black frame overlaid with organic, almost skeletal tracery, a plain dark barrel and an amber-tinted magazine. Minimal Wear keeps the look nearly identical to a fresh copy, with only faint scuffs that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It is the practical way to get the clean ornament without paying for the top grade.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, stock and top rail are finished in a dark charcoal base covered with a pale silvery ornament of veins, loops and filigree that reads like engraving. The same pattern runs over the trigger guard and the scope mount, while the barrel and muzzle stay plain matte black.

Small scuffs may appear on the lower edge of the stock and the corners of the trigger guard. The pattern itself remains intact, and the finest lines are still sharp. At normal viewing distance it reads the same as Factory New. The receiver, top rail and scope mount stay clean.

The float of Souvenir AUG | Plague ranges from 0 to 0.76; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Silver, white, black and holo stickers in monochrome tones blend with the pale engraving and keep the gloomy mood. A single accent in amber or copper echoes the magazine. Placements on the flat side of the stock read best against the dark base.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the edges of the stock and the trigger guard show the difference first.
• Look at the inspect view of the stock butt and top rail, as these parts lose the fine ornament earliest.
• Check applied stickers and a name tag, which can change how the dark finish looks on the body.
• Compare a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy against a regular one if the counter or the souvenir status matters to you.
