Skin overview

AUG | Spalted Wood is built around a brown wood-grain print on the body with an untouched-looking dark upper. Its wear range ends early, so Battle-Scarred copies look only somewhat rougher than late Well-Worn ones: the grain is patchy and grey base is exposed on the edges, magazine and grip. It is the most economical way to own the skin while keeping the overall wood look recognisable.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver's lower body and the stock carry a brown hydrographic print of streaked, dried wood with dark veins running lengthwise. The barrel, top rail, scope and upper receiver are left in plain dark gunmetal, so the wood is framed by metal.

Wear spreads further across the magazine, foregrip and stock edges, with more grey base showing between patches of grain. Because the range stops early, the damage is only a step beyond Well-Worn rather than a near-total loss of the print. In game the rifle looks rough but still clearly wooden. The central body panels keep a readable part of the pattern.
