Skin overview

Storm turns the AUG into a quiet two-tone rifle in mint green and blue-grey with a dark barrel and optic. In Field-Tested the light paint starts to show scuffs along the edges of the body and the ribs of the magazine. The pale base makes these marks noticeable, which gives the rifle a used, practical look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and stock shell are painted a pale mint green that covers most of the rifle. The magazine and vertical foregrip are a muted blue-grey, which separates them clearly from the body.

Scuffs become visible along the edges of the body, around the trigger guard and on the magazine ribs. The grip starts to lose paint on its front surface. In game the wear reads as a light grubbiness against the pale green. The large side panels of the stock still look mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir AUG | Storm is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in pale blue, grey, white or soft green continue the stormy palette without breaking it. A single darker accent in navy or charcoal on the light body creates contrast that matches the dark barrel and scope.

What to check before buying

• Check the float within the wear range, since paint loss on the light body grows noticeably towards the dirtier end of each grade.
• Look at the stock corners, magazine ribs and grip, as these are the parts that lose paint first.
• The finish has no pattern, so pattern index does not change the look.
• Souvenir copies carry their own printed stickers, so check whether they suit the pale colour scheme before buying.
