Skin overview

Surveillance is a quiet, dark skin: a topographic map in teal and green with fine warm lines running across the AUG body. In Field-Tested the anodized layer starts to show bare metal on the edges and the foregrip. The map itself is still easy to recognise.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and stock are painted in a dark teal-green with a map pattern of faint contour lines in orange and gold, plus small HUD-style markings. The foregrip and pistol grip area carry brighter iridescent blotches that shift between blue, green and gold.

Light scratches appear on the foregrip, the trigger guard edges and the lower corners of the stock. The colour starts to fade slightly where the hands rest. At normal distance the skin still reads as dark teal with a visible map. The upper receiver and the flat sides of the stock stay mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir AUG | Surveillance ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Control Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in teal, dark green, gold or orange tie in with the map colours and contour lines. Holo or foil stickers with a cool blue sheen echo the iridescent patches on the foregrip. Placing them on the flat side of the stock keeps the receiver pattern visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested can look close to Minimal Wear.
• Look at the foregrip and trigger guard first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so judge whether they fit the dark teal finish.
• Inspect existing stickers and the name tag to make sure they match what you want.
