Skin overview

Chromatic Aberration pairs a vivid magenta centre with a dark, speckled frame, so the rifle keeps a strong silhouette even when the paint is no longer pristine. In Field-Tested, scuffs start to show on the edges and the muzzle. Against a busy glitch pattern they blend in more than they would on a plain finish.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is the focal point, painted bright magenta with purple tiger-like stripes printed slightly out of register. The long barrel and the scope are dark charcoal, dotted with small pink, cyan and white fragments that look like digital glitches, and a cyan ring accents the muzzle.

Wear becomes visible along the receiver edges, around the muzzle and on the scope rims, where small patches of grey metal show. Some of the small glitch fragments on the barrel lose definition. In game the pink receiver still dominates the view, and the scuffs mostly blend into the pattern. The centre of the receiver and the flat sides of the stock stay largely clean.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Holo or foil stickers in pink, purple or cyan match the glitch palette, especially when placed on the dark section of the barrel where they echo the scattered fragments. Black and white stickers suit players who prefer to keep the receiver as the only bright accent.

• Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since lower values keep the receiver edges and the muzzle cleaner.
• Inspect the receiver edges and the scope rims first, as they lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
