Skin overview

This wear keeps nearly the whole look of the AWP | CMYK: a light body with magenta, cyan and yellow accents and a colour-shifting barrel. Small marks may sit on edges, but from the player's view they are hard to spot. It is a close substitute for the cleanest grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The stock and receiver are painted in an off-white base with a magenta stripe along the top of the stock and a cyan swirl near the grip. The lower stock carries yellow-green halftone dots, and a black letter K sits near the rear, closing the four print colours.

Small scuffs can appear on the muzzle, the scope rings and the edges of the stock. The white areas stay bright, and the dots and fades remain sharp. In game it is hard to tell from Factory New at normal distance. The stock surfaces and the barrel gradient look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | CMYK is 0–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Graphic Design Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Among 15 skins of the AWP in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin ranks 8th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in cyan, magenta, yellow or black follow the print-colour idea of the skin. Holographic and colourful stickers sit well on the light part of the stock and receiver, while plain white stickers tend to blend into the base.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since the white base makes the difference between low and high floats easy to see.
• Inspect the stock edges, the receiver top, the scope rings and the muzzle, as these lose paint first.
• Check that the halftone dots and the magenta stripe on the stock are intact on worn copies.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they suit the artwork.
