Skin overview

The rifle carries a comic-style scene in blue, magenta and pink, set against grey and white tones with a neon line running along the barrel. In Minimal Wear any marks are tiny and usually sit on edges, so the image looks essentially new from a normal view. It gives nearly the same look as the top grade at a lower step.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The stock and lower receiver carry the main illustration: two stylized women in blue, purple and magenta with pink highlights, outlined over a grayscale pattern of dark lines. The upper surfaces of the receiver and barrel are white and light grey, with a thin cyan neon line and magenta streaks running along the length of the barrel.

Small scratches appear on the muzzle, the scope edges and occasionally the rear corner of the stock. The faces and figures remain untouched and the colours keep their brightness. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. The barrel's neon line stays intact.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Neo-Noir is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Holo or foil stickers in magenta, cyan or purple match the neon palette, while black and white stickers suit the grayscale background. Placing them along the barrel and receiver keeps the illustration on the stock visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the barrel line and stock edges change noticeably between low and high values.
• Inspect the faces on the stock, as wear reaching the figures matters more than scuffs on the barrel.
• Look at the scope and muzzle, which are the first parts to lose paint on this skin.
• On Souvenir or stickered copies, check whether the stickers cover the illustration on the stock.
