Skin overview
Battle-Scarred Circaetus is the roughest form of the snake-eater design: wide areas of paint on the slide, barrel and magazine are worn down to bare metal. The bird and the snake on the grip survive as fragments of orange and dark lines. It reads as an old, heavily used pistol rather than a painted piece.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The slide and frame are painted pale sand-beige with dark slate feather-like stripes running back along the slide. Toward the rear of the slide and on top of the grip the pattern becomes a bird of prey in orange and red, its fiery plumage spilling down the grip.
Large areas of the slide, barrel and magazine are bare metal, leaving only scraps of beige and slate stripes. The bird and the snake on the grip survive as broken fragments of orange and dark lines. Only recessed parts of the grip and the magazine keep solid paint. In game the finish reads as a worn metal pistol with traces of the original drawing.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.9
The float of Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Circaetus ranges from 0 to 0.9; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.9 — 50% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Circaetus belongs to The Snakebite Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Snakebite Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Orange, red, black and beige stickers match the bird and the feather stripes. Placing them along the slide keeps the bird on the grip visible, and bird or snake motifs tie in with the theme.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the grade, because the pale base shows wear earlier than darker finishes.
- Look at the slide edges, the muzzle and the magazine base, since these lose paint first.
- Inspect the orange bird on the grip to see how much of the plumage is still intact.
- Check for applied stickers or a name tag, and whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players who like heavily worn, metal-heavy finishes.
- Budget entry for a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy of the design.
- For those who want the roughest version.
