Skin overview

Crimson Web is defined by the red slide with black web lines, and in Battle-Scarred that red survives only in patches between large areas of worn metal. The grey frame and magazine change little, so the contrast now comes from the damaged slide rather than a clean colour block. It is the most affordable way to own this finish, with a heavily used look.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The hydrographic finish covers the slide with a red base coat, over which a black spider-web print runs in thin, irregular lines. The barrel with its ported muzzle stays black, while the frame, trigger guard and extended magazine keep a dark gunmetal grey.

Large areas of the slide are worn down to metal, with red remaining only in patches. The web print survives in fragments between the scratches. In game the slide reads as mostly grey with red spots. The grey frame, magazine and grip look much the same as in cleaner grades.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8

The float of Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Crimson Web ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Crimson Web belongs to The Arms Deal 3 Collection, which holds 12 skins.

The source is CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and white stickers fit the colour scheme of the slide and the grey frame. Dark or monochrome stickers on the frame keep attention on the red slide, while a single red accent ties the lower half to the top.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the slide edges change most between low and high values.
  • Look at how the web lines fall on the slide, as the placement varies from copy to copy and some layouts look tidier.
  • Inspect the front and top edges of the slide, which lose paint first.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change the look and do not come off without scraping.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget entry for players who simply want this skin in their loadout.
  • Fans of heavily worn finishes where red patches sit on bare metal.
  • The cheapest way to own the finish, with the roughest look.
