Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the most worn grade of Emerald Jörmungandr, and because the float range stops early, it is the lightest Battle-Scarred a skin can have. Exposed metal is visible on the slide and edges. The green weave is still recognisable across the frame and grip.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The whole pistol is covered in green interlaced knotwork with serpent coils over a dark teal and navy base. On the slide the coils loop along the sides and over the top, and the barrel area repeats the same weave.

Exposed metal covers more of the slide top, the muzzle and the grip edges than on Well-Worn. Because the float range ends early, the damage stays moderate compared to heavily scarred finishes. The green weave remains visible on the slide sides and grip centre. In game it reads as a worn but still clearly patterned gun.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5

The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr belongs to The Norse Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, gold and dark navy stickers blend well with the emerald knotwork. Holo or foil stickers in green tones placed along the slide keep the serpent theme consistent, while red or pink stickers stand out sharply against the pattern.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade show fewer worn edges.
  • Look at the muzzle, the top of the slide and the grip edges, as these lose the anodized colour first.
  • Souvenir copies come with applied stickers, so judge whether they fit the green artwork.
  • Check any applied stickers and name tag on regular copies too, as they change the overall look.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Entry-level buyers who want this Desert Eagle at the lowest cost.
  • Players who prefer a battle-worn look that still keeps the pattern.
  • The cheapest way into this skin, with milder wear than the grade name suggests.
