Skin overview
This Desert Eagle carries a dark, almost tactical look with no pattern, only solid colours on separate parts. In Minimal Wear the finish looks practically the same as the cleanest grade at normal viewing distance. The few small scuffs sit on the muzzle and edges, where a dark gun looks naturally handled.
Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The slide and barrel are painted in a flat graphite grey, with the top of the slide a touch darker than its sides. The frame, accessory rail and trigger guard are near-black, and the grip panels follow the same dark tone around the moulded emblem.
Light scuffs appear on the muzzle face and along the front edges of the slide. The flat sides of the slide, the frame and the grip panels stay clean. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. This grade gives almost the same look at a lower wear level.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Night is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Chop Shop Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Taking Minimal Wear as the baseline:
- Factory New — 4.3× dearer
- Field-Tested — 23% cheaper
- Well-Worn — 25% cheaper
- Battle-Scarred — 26% cheaper
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 6 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
The dark graphite base works with almost any sticker, so bright holo or gold stickers on the slide side stand out strongly. For a quieter build, black, silver or muted green stickers keep the night ops feel.
What to check before buying
- Check the inspect view of the muzzle and slide edges, since these show wear first on this dark finish.
- Within Field-Tested, compare the float position, as low and high copies differ noticeably in how much metal shows.
- Look at any applied stickers or name tag, because on a plain finish they become the main visual accent.
- Souvenir copies exist, so confirm whether you are buying a regular or a souvenir version.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look without aiming for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters who need a dark, tidy base.
- Conclusion: almost the Factory New look with a more relaxed choice.
