Skin overview
Battle-Scarred Printstream turns the clean white slide into a heavily scratched surface where bare metal shows through. The graphics are broken up, yet the black-and-white scheme and the dark grip still make the skin identifiable. It is the roughest take on this design and the most affordable way into it.
Item type: pistol. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide is painted white and covered with black graphic elements: a large XX symbol, a heart, diamond shapes, a barcode, rows of small lettering and thin outlined lines. Near the barcode and at the back of the slide sit small pearlescent stripes and markings that shift in colour with the light.
The slide is heavily scratched, with large areas of white paint gone and metal showing through. Many of the small graphics and lettering are broken or lost. The grip and frame edges are worn too. In game the pistol keeps its black-and-white silhouette, but the clean printed look is gone.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Printstream is 0–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (44% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Fracture Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Fracture Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, white and holographic or foil stickers match the monochrome slide and its pearlescent accents. Placements on the white slide stand out most, while a single small sticker keeps the graphic layout readable.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear range, because white paint shows every scuff and the difference within one grade can be visible.
- Inspect the slide edges, the top surface and the muzzle, as these areas lose paint first.
- Check that the XX symbol and the barcode are intact on worn copies, since they define the look of the skin.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag to make sure they fit the black-and-white design.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players who want the lowest entry point into this design.
- Fans of heavily worn, battle-used finishes.
- The most affordable way to own the skin, at the cost of a clean slide.
