The Panther finish is built on solid colour: red frames and trigger guards set against grey slides and grips. In Minimal Wear any marks are small and sit on the sharpest edges, so in hand the pistols look practically the same as a fresh copy. It is the sensible choice for a clean look at a lower grade.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The slides of both pistols are painted grey, with darker ridged serrations at the rear and grey hammers. The frames, trigger guards and triggers are a glossy bright red that runs down to the base of the grips.
Small specks of missing paint may appear on the slide edges and the tips of the muzzles. The red frames and trigger guards stay almost untouched. At normal viewing distance these marks are hard to spot, and the pistols read as clean. Grips and frame sides look as fresh as in Factory New.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir Dual Berettas | Panther ranges from 0 to 0.58; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 14% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 3 Collection with 12 skins in total.
It drops from CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, black and grey stickers blend with the scheme, while white or metallic accents add contrast on the grey slides. Placements on the slides read best, since the frames are already busy with strong red.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since chipping on a solid-colour finish grows steadily with it.
- Look at the slide edges, muzzles and trigger guard rims first, as these lose paint before anything else.
- There is no pattern to compare, so judge copies by wear, stickers and name tag rather than seed.
- Make sure any applied stickers fit the red and grey scheme, because removing them is not possible without scraping.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters, since the small edge marks are barely visible.
- A balanced choice between appearance and cost.
