Skin overview

FAMAS | Corp Defense in Battle-Scarred is the most worn take on its graphite and black scheme. Edges and raised parts show clear chipping, and the red accent on the stock can be noticeably faded. For anyone who likes a beaten-up rifle, the dark base hides damage better than bright finishes do.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and the long carry handle are painted in a matte graphite grey, with darker black panels along the handguard and lower body. The barrel, muzzle device and magazine are kept black, which frames the grey body.

Heavy chipping covers the carry handle, muzzle, stock corners and magazine edges. The red accent can be clearly faded or partly worn away. Only the more protected central areas of the body keep an even tone. In game the rifle looks rough and battered, though the dark scheme is still recognisable.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Corp Defense is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 6 skins of the FAMAS in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and white stickers match the colour scheme and echo the red accent on the stock. Monochrome or holo stickers on the side of the receiver keep the strict corporate look. Bright multicolour designs tend to clash with the restrained finish.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since cleaner copies keep the carry handle edges intact.
  • Look at the red accent on the stock, as it is the main colour detail and fades on worn copies.
  • Inspect the carry handle, muzzle and stock corners, which lose paint first.
  • Check any applied stickers or name tag, because they change the look of a plain dark finish noticeably.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who enjoy heavily battered weapons.
  • Budget buyers who want the lowest grade of the skin.
  • Collectors of worn looks, since the dark base hides damage well.
  • The option for those who want the rifle to look like it has seen action.
