Show allAllSkin overview
FAMAS | Palm in Battle-Scarred is a heavily scuffed khaki camouflage with much of the paint gone from the edges, handle and magazine. The palm silhouettes survive mainly in patches on the larger panels. It is the most rugged take on this finish, close to a bare field weapon.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver, carrying handle and stock are covered in a sand and khaki base with olive patches and pale palm-leaf silhouettes laid over them through stencils. The pistol grip and trigger guard take a lighter olive-grey tone, and the magazine shows the same mix of tan and green.
Large areas of the carrying handle, magazine and receiver edges are worn down to metal. The leaf pattern remains only as scattered patches on the bigger panels. In game the rifle looks grey-khaki and rough, with the camo reduced to blotches. The centre of the stock is the last area keeping clear colour.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.75
The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Palm ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.75 — 40% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Compared with the Battle-Scarred quality, the others go like this:
- Factory New — 1.8× dearer
- Minimal Wear — 17% dearer
- Field-Tested — 18% dearer
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 6 skins of the FAMAS in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Earthy stickers in olive, tan, brown or muted gold blend into the camouflage without breaking it. A single darker sticker on the flat receiver side gives contrast while keeping the military feel.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, as lower floats keep the carrying handle cleaner.
- Look at the carrying handle and magazine corners in the inspect view, since they lose paint first.
- Pattern placement shifts the palm silhouettes only slightly, so it rarely changes the look.
- For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and how they sit on the camo.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Fans of heavily worn weapons that look like bare field gear.
- The cheapest way to put any finish on the FAMAS.
- The roughest version, for those who like it scratched.
