Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the most worn grade of Prime Conspiracy, with the teal and multicoloured digits broken by patches of exposed metal on the raised parts. The float range of this skin stops earlier than for many finishes, so even the most worn copies keep a fair amount of the pattern on the flat sides. The result is a darker, scuffed take on the number design.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and long carry handle are coated in a dark teal base filled with overlapping numerals in magenta, cyan and light blue. A pale silver zigzag band runs along the lower receiver above the trigger area, and the pink digits repeat on the stock and around the barrel shroud.

The handle, shroud and stock edges are heavily stripped to metal, and wear spreads onto the receiver around the zigzag band. Colours across the body look muted and broken. Because the range ends earlier than usual, the flat sides keep a readable portion of the number pattern. In game the rifle looks dark and well-used rather than fully bare.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.55

The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Prime Conspiracy is 0–0.55; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.55 segment (18% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir FAMAS | Prime Conspiracy belongs to The Control Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in magenta, cyan or teal blend with the digit pattern, while silver or holographic ones echo the zigzag band. Placing them on the receiver side below the carry handle keeps them in view without covering the busiest part of the artwork.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the top edge of the carry handle, as it is the first part visible in first-person view to lose colour.
  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade look noticeably fresher.
  • Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so decide whether they fit your plans before buying.
  • Inspect any stickers or name tag on the listing, as they change how the colourful pattern looks.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players wanting the cheapest way into the skin.
  • Those who prefer a darker, rougher version of the pattern.
  • A budget pick that still keeps much of the number design.
