Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest way into the Roll Cage look, and the heaviest wear the finish gets. Large patches of dark metal show through on the carry handle, magazine and stock, and the sponsor decals are only partly left. The red splatter and black frame still carry the racing theme.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The carry handle is black with red accents and a line of small sponsor-style logos running along its side, like decals on a race car. The receiver is tan with red splatter and dark grime, while the lower body, trigger guard and pistol grip stay black.

Large areas of bare dark metal cover the carry handle, the magazine and the stock. Most small logos are gone or only fragments remain, and the front red block is worn at the edges. In game the rifle looks heavily battered, with the red splatter as the main remaining colour. Only the centre of the receiver keeps a noticeable part of the original finish.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and white stickers match the livery best and look like extra sponsor decals. Placements on the receiver and stock sides suit the race car theme, while the carry handle is better left free to keep its logo row visible.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float position within the wear range, as low floats in a grade keep more of the handle logos.
• Inspect the top of the carry handle and the magazine edges, since they lose paint first.
• Check that applied stickers do not cover the sponsor-style logos you want to keep visible.
• Note whether the copy has a name tag and whether it fits the racing theme.
