Skin overview

Yeti Camo turns the FAMAS into an arctic camo rifle with white, grey and blue patches. In Battle-Scarred heavy scratching cuts through the light finish on most edges, so the weapon looks rough and weathered rather than snowy. It is the most affordable way to own the pattern, and the worn look suits its utilitarian style.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The carry handle, upper receiver and stock are covered in a camo of white, light grey, sky blue and dark navy blots that wrap around the shapes without a fixed layout. The lower receiver and handguard area are kept in a solid slate blue-grey, as are the pistol grip and trigger guard.

Heavy wear covers all edges and raised parts, and large scratched areas break up the camo on the carry handle, magazine and stock. The barrel and muzzle are largely stripped of the light finish. In game the FAMAS looks grey and weathered, with the pattern surviving mainly in the recessed areas and on the larger flat panels.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

White, silver and blue stickers blend well with the arctic camo, while a single dark navy or black sticker adds contrast against the pale base. Placements on the flat side of the stock or receiver keep the carry handle pattern visible.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low value keeps the white base noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the top edge of the carry handle, the muzzle and the magazine, as these parts lose paint first.
• Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure you like them before buying.
