Skin overview

This finish relies on tone rather than pattern: a deep anodized grey over a chrome base, with no graphics or colour blocks. Minimal Wear covers only a very narrow slice at the top of the skin's range, so these copies differ from Factory New by little more than faint hints of brighter metal on the sharpest edges. For most buyers it is the same plain, dark pistol.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The slide is coated in a dark gunmetal grey with a slight satin shine, and its flat sides pick up light like polished metal. The frame and dust cover with the accessory rail carry the same tone, while the slide release, takedown lever, magazine release and trigger stand out in a lighter steel grey.

Wear is limited to tiny light specks where the coating thins over the chrome base, mostly on the muzzle face and the upper edges of the slide. The flat sides of the slide, the frame and the grip still look fully covered. At normal viewing distance in game these marks are practically invisible, and the pistol reads the same as a Factory New copy. Only a close look in the inspect view shows the difference.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Anodized Gunmetal ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Alpha Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

The dark grey body works as a neutral base, so holographic, gold or chrome stickers stand out well on the slide. Muted black, white or steel-toned stickers keep the look restrained and match the industrial character of the finish.

What to check before buying

  • Compare the float with the skin's narrow range, since Minimal Wear copies sit right at the top of it and look almost identical to Factory New.
  • Inspect the muzzle face and the top edges of the slide, where the chrome base shows through first.
  • Check whether the copy is a Souvenir, as that version exists for this skin and comes with its own applied stickers.
  • Look at any stickers or name tag already applied, because on such a plain finish they become the most noticeable part of the gun.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the same dark look and do not care about specks they will never notice in game.
  • Buyers who want a simple alternative to the default pistol at an entry level.
  • Sticker crafters for whom the slide edges matter less than the overall dark background.
  • Conclusion: practically the same pistol as Factory New, for those who do not chase a perfect float.
