Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the roughest take on this Five-SeveN finish. The slide is dark and dull, with heavy scratching over the colour patches. Traces of blue and gold still show through, so the skin remains recognisable as Case Hardened.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The finish sits mainly on the slide. The front half and the muzzle area are covered in mottled olive, gold and brownish patches.
Heavy scratching covers most of the slide, and the colours sit under a dark, dull layer. The muzzle and edges are the most worn. In game the slide reads as dark weathered steel with traces of blue and gold. The frame and grip are also scuffed.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Case Hardened is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Five-SeveN | Case Hardened belongs to The Arms Deal 2 Collection, which holds 12 skins.
The source is CS:GO Weapon Case 2 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, blue and holo stickers echo the heat colours of the slide. Placing them on the grey frame keeps the case-hardened pattern fully visible.
What to check before buying
- Look at the pattern on the inspect screen, because the amount of blue and gold differs on every copy.
- Check the float within the wear range, since higher values show more scratching on the slide edges and muzzle.
- Inspect the top of the slide closely, as this is where colour loss shows first.
- Note any stickers or name tag and decide whether they suit your plans for the pistol.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who prefer a dark, weathered pistol.
- The cheapest entry into this finish.
- Best for those who value character over clean colour.
