Skin overview
Heat Treated still shows its idea in the worst grade: a case-hardened slide over a dark grey frame. In Battle-Scarred large areas of the tint are rubbed down to grey steel, and the colour survives mostly in recessed areas and patches along the sides. It is the most affordable way to carry the finish, with a rough, weathered character of its own.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
It is painted in the case hardening technique.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide carries the whole effect: a case-hardened surface dominated by deep blue, with violet and bronze-gold tints appearing near the muzzle, along the sides and around the rear serrations. The frame, trigger guard and grip stay in a dark grey, almost charcoal tone, so the coloured slide stands out sharply above them.
Large parts of the slide are worn down to bare grey metal, with the strongest damage on the top, the muzzle and the serrations. Colour survives in scattered patches on the sides and in recesses. In game the pistol looks mostly steel-grey with hints of blue and bronze. The frame shows heavy rubbing on edges and the grip, though its dark base colour still holds.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Heat Treated is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Sport & Field Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue, purple and gold or holo stickers echo the heat tint of the slide and keep the craft cohesive. The dark grey frame is a calm background where a single bright sticker reads well without competing with the coloured slide.
What to look at before you buy
- Inspect the pattern, because the balance of blue, purple and gold on the slide changes from copy to copy.
- Check the muzzle, the top of the slide and the rear serrations, since the tint wears off there first.
- Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, as copies at the cleaner end keep noticeably more colour.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure their placement suits you.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the cheapest entry to this skin.
- Those who enjoy a rough, steel-grey pistol with traces of heat tint.
- An inexpensive way to own the finish with its own gritty style.
