Souvenir Five-SeveN | Monkey Business (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

The skin is built around a single idea: a banana wrapped over a dark grey Five-SeveN, with blue accents on the trigger and controls. In Field-Tested the yellow still dominates the view, while the slide edges and the muzzle start to show small dark chips. From a normal distance it still reads as a clean, bright banana.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is painted as a banana: a saturated yellow peel with thin darker seams runs from a brown tip at the muzzle back along the top and sides. At the rear the peel bends down and follows the front strap of the grip, ending in a second brown tip at the base.

Small chips appear around the muzzle and along the upper edges of the slide, showing dark metal under the yellow. The sides of the slide and the grip curve are still mostly clean. At normal distance the wear is hard to notice and the banana reads clearly. The fruit label and blue controls stay intact.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Monkey Business ranges from 0.1 to 0.9; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 29% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Five-SeveN | Monkey Business belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which holds 15 skins.

The source is Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Blue stickers echo the trigger and the fruit label and stand out well against the yellow slide. Dark or holo stickers fit the grey frame below the peel, and banana or monkey themed stickers suit the joke of the design.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float within the chosen grade, since wear starts at the muzzle and the top edges of the slide.
• Check the curve of the peel on the grip front, which shows wear early on worn copies.
• Check stickers and name tags, as yellow-heavy stickers can blend into the peel.
• Decide between StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions, as both exist for this skin.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the full look with barely visible wear in game.
• Buyers who want a balance between condition and cost.
• A sensible middle choice.
