Skin overview
This hydrographic pistol puts the bright colour on the slide and keeps the frame and grip in a calm khaki tone. Minimal Wear keeps that split intact, with only faint marks that blend into the dark patches already printed on the slide. For most players it looks the same as a fresh copy in hand.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The slide is covered in neon yellow-green with a fine geometric diamond lattice and irregular black patches spread across its top and sides. The underbarrel rail and small controls repeat the neon in thin accents, tying them to the slide.
Small scratches may appear on the slide edges near the muzzle and on the rear serrations. They are easy to miss because they sit close to the printed dark patches. The frame, grip and rail accents still look untouched. At normal distance the pistol reads as clean.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Neon Kimono ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Five-SeveN | Neon Kimono belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, yellow-green and holo stickers sit well on the slide and continue the neon theme. Tan, olive or matte dark stickers suit the frame and keep it in line with the khaki body.
What to check before buying
- Check the slide edges, muzzle end and rear serrations, since these lose the neon first.
- Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, as a low float keeps the lattice noticeably cleaner in the middle grades.
- On Souvenir copies, check which printed stickers are applied and how they sit on the slide and frame.
- Check any applied stickers or name tag, because they affect how the neon slide reads.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Crafters for whom tiny edge marks do not matter under stickers.
- Conclusion: practically the same view in game for a smaller outlay.
