Skin overview

The skin is built on contrast: a busy floral slide above a calm, plain blue-grey lower half. In Minimal Wear any marks stay small and usually sit on the slide edges, so the pattern looks practically intact at normal viewing distance. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade at a lower entry point.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The slide is dark charcoal grey with a hydrographic floral print: a large pale bloom with a red outline near the muzzle and smaller cream flowers and leaves running back toward the rear sight. The accessory rail under the barrel carries the same dark patterned finish.

Small scratches may appear on the sharp edges of the slide and the muzzle face, usually only visible up close. The flowers keep their outlines and colour. In game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The frame, grip and rail stay clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Nightshade is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

The skin’s collection is The eSports 2013 Winter Collection with 12 skins in total.

It drops from eSports 2013 Winter Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in cream, dusty pink, muted red or dark blue match the floral print and the slate frame. Placing them on the plain blue frame keeps the slide pattern uncluttered, while small pale stickers on the slide can blend in with the flowers.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the float position within the wear, since the slide top and edges show the difference first.
• Look at the large flower near the muzzle, as it is the main focal point and wears early on more used copies.
• Note that the float range stops early, so Battle-Scarred copies look milder than the name suggests.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, since they change the look of the plain blue frame.
